I always enjoy a visit to Weston's Odeon, as it's a fairly small building and quite intimate compared to others. Good selection of snacks and soft drinks, though I was a tad disappointed to see they now serve alcohol. Not really sure why there's a need for this and was a bit put off by someone sat next to me and my daughter chugging on a bottle of wine... Which is unnecessary when watching a family film :/ Pricing is good (I believe they've lowered their prices recently), seats are comfy, and they have a good selection of films. My only annoyance is that the majority of films rated 12/15/18 start after 3pm, so it's impossible to go during the day if I have some spare time whilst the children are at school. Not sure what the future holds for the Odeon with the new complex opening shortly, but I will be sorry if it goes.

Best thing at present is the price, seating is ok (standard seating), and screen size and quality is average. For young kids this is a little gem for a movie day, central location and not too big a complex. Not sure what the future holds once the new Cineworld cinema opens. Great value at present...

Uphill Hill

Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, Weston BS23 4TT, UK – 01934 888888

A wonderful walk. Dogs can run free off the lead and you can take your time walking the dog in what is normally a strong breeze and can sometimes be very windy as the hill is exposed. Wonderful views of Weston super mare. Worth going up there on a sunny day. On the other side of the hill you can see as far as Glastonbury

Stunning views of sea and W-S-M. Sooo peaceful and beautiful at night
