Cinemas around Weston-super-Mare

Great staff, comfortable seats, sound quality awesome.

Staff were efficient. Film was very good.

Uphill Hill

Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, Weston BS23 4TT, UK – 01934 888888

Great views of Weston, Brean and coast. Especially when tide is in.

Peace and tranquillity and stunning views across the estuary.

Grand Pier

Marine Parade, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1AL, UK – 01934 620238

Great pier which is clean and well maintained, probably from the pound entrance fee charged. It has a theatre, bar, brilliant amusement arcade, fish and chips, ice cream and a pretty good tearoom/restaurant. You can walk to the end of the pier. Toilet facilities at the end of the pier are free and well maintained. I took my elderly parents there and they loved it. The amusement arcade took us back to our youth and we couldn't resist trying some of the games such as the pirates shooting range and the soft toy grab machines.

Myself and 4 other members of the 'hand dryer appreciation society' embarked on a journey from Essex as we had heard that the hand dryer on the Grand Pier was of the finest engineering excellence. Let me tell you, WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!! Fantastic unit, average drying time of less than 10 seconds (much needed after enjoying the Cider festival with a fine selection of over 5 ciders!), over 80% (yes 80%!) more efficient than conventional hand dryers. Superb, topped off a great weekend with some like minded enthusiasts and made the £1.00 entry fee onto the Pier worth every penny (especially when spending one!).

Theatres for Weston-super-Mare

The Playhouse Theatre

126-130 High St, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1HP, UK – 01934 645544

Only went for children's afternoon performance but the theater was a proper old fashioned middle of town theater. Seating was comfortable. I had a good view of the stage. Quite a personal venue. I'd happily go there again.

Compared to other theatres this is smaller. Still a lovely thearte. Have been a few times now and already booked a few more shows. Staff very helpful.

The Blakehay Theatre
